Game Thread: Game 10: Lions @ Giants

This suggests 24-21 Giants. Sounds kind of low but seeing we have only won 1 road game in 2 years (and that was just last week) I think we may take a step back this week.

The Lions are on a hot streak - two victories in a row. They’re rising in the rankings to the dismay of all the fans hoping for a higher draft pick. I‘m cheering for winning the game, not next year’s draft position.

I’m also hoping they hire staff to tell DC when to punt, kick a field goal, call a time out, challenge the play, go for it on fourth down, all those high end coaching decisions. I know, I want a lot. I’ll settle for the organization learning how to win again by winning now, not some time in the future.

Same here. This is the year that it does not matter as much. No great QBs and the Rams might give us a top 5 pick anyway.

How about add in, kick the damn FG and take the points when your offense has driven down inside the red zone to reward them for their effort. This garbage of going for it on 4th and 1 from the 7 with an empty set backfield or 4th and 5 inside the 10 and you have the opportunity to score the first points of the game.

His game management sucks all too often.

Completely agree, hence why I was thrilled when we kicked the FG early last week.

Probably no pads practice.
The NFL only allows 14 practices with pads on once the regular season begins.

I surely don't have an answer as to why he's listed as questionable while yet present at all practices.

It's been a weird season all the way around with all the number of players out due to injuries.
