Anyhow. Good game for a lot of guys on defense. Obviously Joseph had his best day. Barnes was very good until he let Rodgers run by him with a lame fake. Commisky and Jacobs had a good return. Elliot was decent. Even Harris had a good game.

Secondary in general looked more organized.

Offense lacks fire power. We need some WRs back and probably may need another brought in next year. We got nothing from CHark this year and Reynolds is nothing but a backup.
It was almost like they got rid of their leading receiving option.

And for a truly shocking change it was a bad call FOR the lions that made it all possible

Jacobs should've been called for D.P.I on Lazard for driving him out of bounds on that last set of downs.

Kerby Joseph should be awarded "MVP for this game".

It's nice to see him get comfortable and become the playmaker they had hope he'd become - in a year or two.

Tracy Walker is going to find it difficult to earn a starting position next year because he's proven unreliable to play in the box.

Joseph looking like Holmes' best defensive player drafted beyond day 1.

Good to see the defensive front come together today even with a handful of lapses.

Really like how Cominsky and Paschal have elevated the defense, but there are plenty of games left to see if this is an anomaly or not.

Re-sign John Cominsky this upcoming off-season - should he continue to play the way he has today and those first two games.

It was Cominsky who was constantly communicating to the D-Line the play calls and where to line up.

I see a veteran leader in Cominsky for this D-Line in 2023/2024.

I still want to see (2) Edge rushers drafted and (1) 3-tech and (1) NG/NT in this next draft.

Brad Holmes can Jettison Julian Okwara and one of Charles Harris or Romeo Okwara this off-season. Should Romeo come back at some point this season and prove he's his 2020 version then keep him and if not it's time to go.

Julian Okwara is mostly a body on the field that gives whoever he replaces a breather and that's about it.

This was blatant no called O.P.I. by Lazard unless I'm near blind

Maybe now the Aaron Rodgers nut swinging can come to an end. You've been exposed dude.

9 points!?!?!?!

Against this defense?

I hope he is okay after the Okudah shot

They seemed to do ok, but the pocket seemed clean for most of it.

Today's Lions defense wasn't what he was expecting or hoping for. Minus a handful of gaffes, Lions were mostly dominant.

And FUCK Aaron Rodgers

Pressure was created mostly outside the "B' gap today. No, it wasn't what many of us had hoped for with interior pressure, but it damn for sure was better than the previous 3 games - in parts.

The Lions entered the game last in the NFL in pass breakups (18) and 31st in interceptions (2). In this game alone they tallied nine pass breakups and three interceptions—two by rookie safety Kerby Joseph.

The defensive performance was so much improved that Campbell opted to give the game ball to defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who had an increased presence in the secondary room this week.

“That was a hell of a job, man,” Campbell said. “(He) coaches his heart out, and he put everything into it as he always does, and the players responded.”

BB_72: Did AG's presence truly help this week? Time will tell if they can compete as well, if not better, over the next 2-3 games.

Maybe Aubrey Pleasant was the problem?
