Gagne: I Have Not Waived my No-Trade Clause

Ok. I am officially losing it. I read in multiple places that he waived his NTC. Now he himself says he did not. Could it be that he agreed to waive it depending on a specific team? This would be a limited waiver and all parties would actually be correct with their statements. I din't want to see him go, but somebody has to go with the cap situation.

If not Gags, I would suspect a center, i.e. Carter. We could the sign Zherdev (not certain I like this idea) to play wing with Gags and Richards. Would have to be between $3-3.5 million. We could then sign Carcillo and Powe. Lines:

Gagne - Richards - Zherdev
Hartnell - Briere - Leino
JVR - Giroux - Carcillo/FA/AHL
Shelley - Betts - Lappy
Powe.

I think this line up scores some goals and with our defense being a top 3, we should have a good run. That being said, I want the Cup. The key becomes Leighton.

i am guessing that gagne has not waived his no trade clause. he probably just said he would be open to the trade idea. however if they sign zherdev who pierre said will happen after the paperwork is done then it makes more sense to trade carter.

i agree with your lines. also, why would the flyers sign a right wing and then trade a left wing? so it makes sense to trade carter.

I have never watched an entire episode. Just seen bits and part of it.

some are kind of dumb or predictable. one i saw had a lady married to an older guy and she was angry because he could not keep up with her so his brother was a scientist and he had a thing to make you younger although it made him a little kid and the lady had to take care of him.

some are really good. one i saw in school and it is really famous and it is about a guy who likes reading and his wife thinks the books are dumb or something. then he goes into a bank vault or something and when he comes out he sees that a bomb was dropped and killed everybody. then he finds a gun and is about to kill himself and sees some books. so he sits down to read them and his glasses break.
