What is the funniest movie of all time?

Obviously I couldn't include all the funniest movies so I expect there to be a lot of other votes.

While I think some of your nominees are , you got the major players (Caddyshack, Animal House, Holy Grail), so I am basically OK with this list.

FTR, I think Holy Grail should be tops, so just quibbling past that. But DAMN, it is hard to choose just one.

Some good ones listed in the OP. Comedy isn't usually my favorite, since it seems so difficult make a movie that stays funny the entire time. Didn't think I would like Stepbrothers, but my son got me to watch it with him and I thought it was pretty hilarious. Silver Linings Playbook is another one I saw recently that I found quite funny.

I was gonna go with Blazing Saddles, but opted for "other", because I like "Airplane!" because it is, for me, more re-watchable. I notice something new every time I watch, and still laugh at it.

Peter Sellers was comedy genius.

Don't ever make the mistake of watching Blazing Saddles on AMC. They work up a number six on it and drain it of all humor.

Nos's sex tape with the Minnesota Gopher was pretty hilarious.

I thought the first Hot Shot was funny. I loved Airplane.
