A coach in a city with a metro area population of 9.5 million people can't sell out his own stadium. And he's talking crap to a state of 1.8 million people that is willing to drive 479 miles (through Iowa - shuddder) to take over his stadium. I'd prefer driving through Iowa one million times more than negotiating Illinois bullshit toll roads with ridiculous restrictive speed limits and rest stop rip-offs. I never loved Iowa so much as when I crossed the border from Illinois.

Downtown Chicago waterfront and NW campus are must see if you've never been, but I'd take a gameday trip to Ames over that shit every time. Sorry Iowa City, haven't been there yet.

I've been several times. We stayed in downtown Chicago and took the Purple Line train up to Evanston. it wasn't too bad, but it wasn't game day either.

I hope that is not the best we can do. But I dont think that Nebraska is that much of a destination anymore. Or that it ever really was we got very lucky with Bob and Tom. If anyone was a option I would go after Chip Kelly. Pete Carrol and Jim Harrbaugh.

If Bo doesnt workout Shawn should build a super staff and spend some fucking money to keep that staff together.
