In the 3rd quarter of our 2012 game, Pat, a few coaches, and several players were talking crap directly to PSU students. They went over to the stands to do it. They were up 28-17 at the end of the third. PSU rattled off 22 unanswered 4th quarter points to shut up the d-bag.

It's tough to get up for a school who's logo, field, and jerseys command little-to-zero respect.

They've been feisty lately. They had Ohio State on the ropes for 3+ quarters in Chicago last season.

Jeepers, just some good ol trash talk. And it wasn't anything other than fun. Sonny Dykes got a little bit more than what Nebraska got. The Northwestern fans are always anxious to sell their tickets and they are very friendly.

If the Penn State stuff is true, Penn State got the better of him and Pat F. probably learned to never do that again.

I love how this is turning out to be a rivalry game, the battle for NU. No Kain Colter this year to annoy the Nebraska defense. Venric Mark is an okay back, but he won't kill Nebraska.

2011 Northwestern beat Nebraska in Lincoln. 28-25.
2012 Nebraska beat Northwestern in Evanston in a comeback. That was a great game to be at, my wife and now my brothers and their wives want to go this year. 29-28
2013 Nebraska had a hail mary to win the game on the last play. 27-24.

Each game has been decided by 3 points or less.

Is it a good thing that Nebraska is comparable to Northwestern in football? Nope, but it is what it is.

Then to further express that he was joking he said he is attempting to get I-80 shut down on gameday so we can't travel.
