Put the hypocritical fraud catholics into the PAC, Big 10, Big XII, ACC or SEC conferences and they'd be in the bottom 25%.

I don't necessarily hate the university. Their AD, Bruce Rassmusen, is a great guy and coaches like McDermott and Servais are great coaches. Servais is probably one of the nicest guys and most knowledgable about his sport as you will find. But why I hope they lose every game is because of their pitiful, bandwagon, egotistical, self absorbed, blue sweater vest wearing, over hyping of their own program, khaki pants wearing, whiny little bitch fans. The hoot and they holler about the size of the crowds they get for their games but if it wasn't for beer sales the crowds wouldn't be that consistant. Plus even when they are there the majority if them just socialize around the Budweiser sign and barely know a game is going on. Then if they have 13,000 "die hard fans" then who are they rooting for when Creighton and Nebraska play in baseball? They are phonies!!!! When I laugh t them for losing at home to Boise St or losing to a Drake team that they crushed earlier in the year then their immediate response is, "well we beat Nebraska!!!!" Good for you, Nebraska is filing terrible and you are supposedly a sweet 16 contender. You are SUPPOSED TO beat Nebraska. Then when they ramble on and on about Doug McDermott. They talk about how he is the best MVC player ever and he is better than Larry Bird. I know Husker football fan does that shit all the time, especially with recruits that haven't even put on a college uni, but I hate that too. Doug is a great player!!!! But Larry Bird is quite possibly one of the 10 greatest basketball players EVER!!!!! Lets back it down!!!

One thing I will defend them on is the argument of, "If you put them in this or that conference then they don't win anything". Well one will never know the answer to that but also they are recruiting to the MVC. If they were in a "big boy" conference then they would recruit "big boy" talent. It is just like the argument people like to say that players in this era of the past couldn't play in today's era. Well give them the same training advantages and all that they have today and they probably could.

Oh, and I hate how they think they should get more national attention like the Gonzagas, VCUs, and big time mid majors. Well guess what ass clowns? Make a sweet sixteen, or hell, even win a first round game in the big boy tourney on a consistant basis and then maybe you will. Winning a bunch of games in a shitty conference doesn't get you national attention. Gonzaga didn't build their rep on beating the teams in their shitty conference. They did it by winning games in the dance!!!!

That's why there are so many people in Nebraska who are fans of Duke and North Carolina and shit. They want to be able to brag to their buddies about how their team is winning.........it's a loser's mentality, plain and simple.

Now, I'm sure there are folks who grew up being fans of Creighton because perhaps they were brought up that way........but the folks who jump on the bandwagon at later years, I mean comon'

I relate to you JJM. I have had an extremely rough past couple of years of been a real fan with real teams who are struggling and who I have to constantly fucking defend. I hate feeling like I have to explain myself to faggot bandwagoners of good teams. They live in a fantasy world where they get to look down on me. In reality it is me looking down on them.

I understand if folks aren't interested in Nebraska basketball.........and I also understand if folks who are currently uninterested end up becoming interested when we start getting better. The way I was brought up, we watched Nebraska basketball in my household......so I've just always been a fan.

But for instance, I am not a volleyball fan or a women's basketball fan, and I cannot ever pretend to be. I wasn't brought up following those teams, and it does not interest me. I still hope they do good because any success that Nebraska has in any program will benefit all programs at the University. But I honestly have never sat here once and watched the volleyball team on TV and actually really gave a damn.

That is just thee honest truth and what not.

That is why, even if Nebraska basketball gets good, I would never feel remotely the same way I do when Nebraska football is good.

I jest have never had a passion for basketball in general, but I think I have a right to get into it if Nebraska does start getting good.

I haven't been to a single Nebrasketball game this year, but if/when we start getting good I will definitely come. I think a lot of people feel the same exact way as me. Whether it makes me less of a fan, I really don't care, because I really don't care that much about Nebrasketball.

I have a problem with my tax dollars being mandated for a jesuit university to have top notch digs for their athletic programs and it's fans.

ie..TD Ameritrade Park and CenturyLink Center (FKA Qwest Center).

I have a friend who graduated from Creighton and is a huge Creighton basketball fan. I give him a hard time for it, but in all honesty I don't care that he is a Creighton fan........he went to school there and had tickets to all the games, he has a right to cheer for his alma mater.

This guy who operated on my dad's leg back in the late 90's down in Omaha was a huge Creighton fan, and he had no association with Creighton. He always told us if you have the option to choose between 2 schools to root for in the state and 1 of them is way better, then why would you not choose that school............he was a cocksucker.

That may seem crazy to some, but with what Nebraska has to offer being in a conference like the BIG and having the best facilities and arena combo in the country.......he is going to snag one of them sooner or later.

Tai Webster is a 4-star according some recruiting services.........some services don't rate him because he's not in the U.S..........but one of the "experts" on ESPN said he is a 5-star guard and is actually in his top 3 overall........as in top 3 out of all positions.

And I shit ye not.....he is that good. And he is coming to Nebraska.
