Still pissed about last night.

Don't know why Pitchford gets so many minutes. We definitely are a better team with Abraham on the floor. He can rebound, defend and make contested shots 2' from the basket. Pitchford is a streaky perimeter shooter who doesn't do much (or anything) else. Basically a 6'10 Ray Gallegos, but even Ray come through on the defensive end sometimes.

I think the point where we lost the game though, was when we had a 10 point lead, got a board and then Petteway dribbles down (1 on 5) and shoots an NBA 3. Saw a couple guys shake their heads as if to say, WHAT THE FUCK. Creighton out scores us by 20 from that point on. Dude goes full retard sometimes and it kills momentum.

On a positive note though, it was good to see Rivers gain some confidence. And I thought Abraham played his best game of the season.

Incarnate Word on Wed. They're 5-0 with a game @ UTEP tonight. Hopefully we can gain some momentum with Cincy coming to town on Sunday.

I've tried to avoid thinking about this game all day today.....

It's impossible though. It tears my heart out.

We have our backs against the wall now. We can't afford to lose anymore OOC games or we'll have to make a hell of a nice little run in Conference.

It is highly likely that we will face Wichita State in that little Holiday Tournament.

That could be interesting.

They're 6-2 right now and they were 7-3 at this time last season. They lost their first 5 conference games last year and really didn't get going until mid January.

It's not the start I was hoping for, but I still think they're ahead of where they were then.

Miles will figure out what this group does best.
