So what if folks root for in state teams along with the Huskers. Creighton got hammered and Nebraska beat themselves vs Baylor. Huskers are trending upward, Creighton has major rebuilding to do. All the shit typing is really immature and uncalled for. What is it JJM simple jealousy that the Jays got a better coach and Arena first? It's great that Nebraska had 2 teams in the Dance. All stupidity aside..

Creighton is in Nebraska, but it's not Nebraska, it is not the Huskers. To root for another school located in Nebraska because your schools team historically has been garbage is lame. It just makes you a piss poor fan who nut rides whatever local program is doing good in the area.

Do you see Jayhawk fans rooting and cheering for Kansas State or Wichita State? No they hate them. There is no reward or consolidation prize for having another in-state program achieve what your team can't.

Unless you grew up a Husker fan but attended Creighton, I don't understand why anyone would root for both schools. There are a lot of 'Jaysker' fans....and I know 90% of them didn't even attended Creighton University. Swinging from team to team when you have no affiliation with the program reveals a layer of the type of person you are, and I simply don't like it.

I moved down here to Omaha this past summer and found my favorite bars to watch Husker Football in and hang out with husker fans. The places are decked out in Husker flags, shirts, hats, banners, etc etc....

Then this winter Football season ended and I went back to one of those bars to watch the Huskers play Basketball on one of the opening games.

The entire place was no longer red.......it was decked out in blue Creighton flags, shirts, hats, etc etc......and it just so happeneded to be Creighton was playing at the same time as Nebraska. I had to request that they put the HUsker game on one of the TV's and they acted like I was retarded.

That's why I hate Creighton.

ANY exposure for the state of Nebraska is good exposure - but then again, you most likely whine how the Husker football team can't recruit because of location. Truth be told, it would have been great to see UNO make it to the dance like other Sun Conference teams do. Whether you want to admit it or not Creighton found the 2000's formula first - Play in a new arena, and get transfers from other D1 schools. And no shit Creighton isn't Nebraska what the F was that supposed to mean anyway? I'll leave the nut riding to you, but I will say I attended plenty of games by both teams over the years and not because one team was better than the other, but because I like watching sports live unlike some here - so get over your-self- righteous-bullshit. Hell, how many of you jokers saw the NBA when they played in Omaha? I did...I also caught many NBA/MLB games when I was in cities that had a game on when I was there <---nutswing on that!
