I'll give credit where it's due. 500 wins is pretty impressive. The Seahawks only have 337 wins including playoffs. So we'd only need 21 years of perfect 16-0 seasons to catch up. That kind of puts it in perspective how far ahead the Pats are.

If I was interested in AFL history (I'm not), I would at least read about one of the successful AFL teams (that actually made it possible for the merger to occur).

And the book is entertaining. I think it is so, for me, because I grew up in part of the early years. It's fun looking back and laughing at some of the things that went on with them as a fledgling team struggling to survive both on and off the field. I'm really looking forward to when I get to the mid 70's and beyond, which is when I started following them as a kid.

And yes I would read a book about the history of the Dallas Cowboys. It would be fascinating based on just knowing what I do, I'm sure there is so much more.

It's not always about ones own favorite team.
