Now if this was in Vancouver, then it would be a bad idea.

The Islanders should do this for all 24 home games.

1.It would guarantee sellouts.
2.People for the most part wouldn't notice or care about how bad his team is. They'd be too busy waiting in line at the beer concession stands.:D:

Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Like Disco Sucks night at Comisky Park (you probably have to be over 40 to know what I'm talking about).

This seems like a not-so-good idea. It's one of those plans that sounds good for about half a second and then you think, "Oh, wait, no, that's moronic."

Yep: I remember that. We were visiting my grandparents, who lived just across the Indiana/Illinois line from Chicago, when that one went down. :D

I agree and heaven forbid if someone gets plastered and kills someone on the way home from the game you wonder if there would be any liability issues involved. I know you can get beer at any game but offering it for free is going to increase the number of drunks leaving the game big time.

I sure as hell wouldn't have done it if I owned the team.
