That's wild. I guess the deal he signed last year was just a 1 year deal then? Weird that WWE was handing out one year deals. But I can see why he'd walk away this time around. They gave him a big push, WM match, the works, and like 2 months after, they stopped doing anything with him.

Would be weird for him to jump into AEW. He needs to take a break and work on a gimmick. Otherwise he will walk into the same ceiling that WWE cuts have been and that is the ceiling of the TNT title.
