4.5 mill a year is about right for Sanchez as a backup. I don't think its more than backup money, especially when you consider Sanchez was a starter for half the year last year.

Could be or maybe its a hedge that Foles cant stay healthy. Remember Kelly has always said you need two QB's in this league. But it is certainly starting to really point towards Mariotta

The plan was always to go all in for Mariota. I'm very confident he'll get him, all comes down to - what will he end up paying.
