We can get off to a good start this year. Our Novemeber schedule doesn't feature many great teams and most of the good teams we face in November visit Miami. The most challenging games in the first month seems to be @ Dallas, vs Clippers, vs Houston, vs Toronto, & vs Golden State.

I love it. Comparing it to the article that Paolo posted in another thread, while Lebron's out touring the world, the Heat are trying to get the chemistry issues out as early as possible. Plus, most people think the Heat will be below a 5th seed. I honestly feel the Heat could be a 3rd seed, possibly 2nd if Rose gets injured again (which I'm not hoping for the latter as I don't wish that on anybody).

There is something to be said about D-Wade and some of the guys working out together - I dont think we saw that nearly enough with Queen James around - I know they hung out at times but it seemed like just something the big 3 did together - few of the rest of the guys seemed to be included - Now, everyone seems to be together and I think that will be a bigger factor than most will say.

Credit to D-Wade for taking a leadership role and setting that up

I think the Heat are a threat for the 2 seed. But truthfully we will likely be a 3 seed in my opinion.

the east to me looks like this.

1. Cleveland

2-3 Miami/Chicago. Miami depending a lot on Wade and Chicago on Rose

4. Washington. I think they could be a surprise team this year

5-8. Charlotte, New York, Atlanta, Pacers.. None of them being real threats. Charlotte could pull an upset in round 1 on someone.. but nothing more.

I really believe the East is a 3 team race with Cleveland being the clear cut leader. Throw in Washington as my dark horse team.
