Well the big difference is he won't get anywhere close to the contract he got and it does make some sense to want to just go "home" and start fresh.

Also helps that this time around we're a contending team so that might have some influence on him.

Sounding like Sean Smith has priced himself out of what we want to pay for him considering the reports that we're not one of the teams hotly after him.

If they don't get him some weapons he has every reason to be angry. They have to get him some weapons unless they plan on running 3 TE sets the whole year. They don't haven't had a lot of success drafting WR's.
