While I've been reading reports about how the Redskins is trying to trade Fred Davis, it just dawned on me and it makes me wonder..Jermichael Finley went down with a serious neck injury yesterday, so I wonder if the Packers is the team that we would possibly trade Fred Davis to?

Trade him for a pack of gum. He's worthless. Reports are he doesn't apply himself which is why he doesn't see the field anymore. Paulson is an adequate TE and reed looks like a keeper so as far as I see it see ya Fred.

I agree with this, I have him on my Fantasy team stuck on the bench(I haven't used him or even thought about using him once) and he's done nothing this season

Hard to contribute when you can not get on the field.

These trade rumors, started by his agent, will just lock Fred deeper inside the doghouse. He'll walk as a FA at the end of the season, sign with the Eagles, and come back and kick our ass. Bank on it.

So who will be pointing a gun at the head of the Browns front office personnel for them to make this trade? You can't be serious. Morgan has only a handful of catches & has proven to be a dud as a returner. Davis has hardly been on the field & will be a free agent at the end of the year. Gordon is on pace for 1,000 yds receiving & has good potential. Also - doubt the Browns are making a playoff run this season so if they wanted Davis why not just wait till the offseason & give up nothing?

No one is holding a gun to Browns head, but it's still being reported that they still are listening to offers on Gordon. The Browns were one of the teams looking at Fred the past offseason. They could take his cheap 1yr contact and if Davis does produce then they'll offer him a contract. The point for the Skins is to get something, instead of nothing for the both of these players. I just want the Skins to get better and produce results on offense and/or defense with these "trade rumors" on Davis

It is admirable that you are a loyal Skins fan. However - let's be real about this. Neither of the Skins players are worth much & certainly won't command Gordon in return. I am pretty sure that the Browns would know what they are getting in Davis & don't need to sacrifice someone like Gordon simply to evaluate him - that would make no sense.

We should all not get carried away with any panic induced trades and - again - the trade deadline is next Tue so it is pretty unlikely that something like this will occur. I am happy with them doing the best they can right now & putting a lot of effort into improving during the offseason when they will have more money to improve the team. Realistically - the Redskins will receive either nothing or very little for Davis.

Also - remember that the Browns already have at least one very good TE in Cameron so it is not exactly a position of desperate need. Obviously - what they need is a stellar QB.
