It's just an example in a parenthesis for what the Bucks should look for as to improve, it should read like Bledsoe for (J.Holiday or B.Beal or other)... and yes, there is a reason...

Bledsoe is a starting PG that costs 10M less than the combo players mentioned... If packed up with an expiring contract, he would create another 10M of cap space to use, for a team that plans to contend a season later...

JFC. You continue to think that expiring contracts are some sort of massive asset.

They're not. They have value in a limited context. And there is absolutely ZERO chance that the Pelicans or Wizards have any interested in Bledsoe because he has an expiring contract.

Bledsoe has not an expiring contract dummy... He is under a team friendly multiyear contract of excellent value that he signed only 4 months ago... it's exactly what makes him a very good tradeable asset if packed with an expiring for the Bucks to buy a more expensive combo guard.
There are teams (like the Bucks) which would want to upgrade from this season and other teams that are planning to "test waters" this season and move to contend a season later (where they'll need every penny they can get...)

How bout you stop with the "dummy" nonsense? Or stop whining when people call you names.

How is his contract team friendly? He's getting paid what his market value is.

You started off by saying that the Bucks might look to trade Bledsoe(a point guard) in order to upgrade at point guard. Are there other teams looking to downgrade at PG?

Here's a clue for you. If Bledsoe really was on a team friendly deal and a valuable contributor, they wouldn't be looking to trade him.

Look... I can't go in circles and repeat what has been already said... You have to read the conversation from its beggining and if you quote on something, it has to be a subject that hasn't been explained before... (like the PG thing you now quote on...)

Bledsoe is a fine player in a decent contract. He has trade value.

But, Bledsoe + an expiring is not yielding a clearly superior player like Beal or Holiday. It isn’t realistic to think that other teams are going to do the Bucks a favor like that just to cut $10 million in salary in future years. Holiday and Beal are worthy the extra money that they are making, and you know that or you wouldn’t want the Bucks to trade him.

I agree... Hill is a perfect and important fit for the Bucks coming from bench to rotate both on Bledsoe at 1or on Brogdon at 2... He should get a three years contract so that the Bucks have the time to fully develop Donte Divincenzo as to take that roll...

IMO, what the Bucks should look for in order to upgrade the starting roster further this season, is to trade Bledsoe for a better PG after they finish with free agency.
It won't be easy to do so after this free agency ends since all the better PGs will have settled with other teams, but what the Bucks could do, is to trade Bledsoe for another combo guard (Jrue Holliday?) and move Brogdon back to PG in the starting roster.

Frank OTOH, I believe is very good fit for the Bucks system... He is good shooter and is quicker to the ball than Lopez and with better dribbling too... he would therefore provide another threat next to Giannis who can pick and roll or pick and pop the ball in cooperation with the guards and Middleton.

Why in the world would the Pelicans trade Holiday for Bledsoe? Are the Bucks giving them a bunch of picks as well?

I am responding to what you said. You created a hypothetical where the Bucks trade Bledsoe for a better player. Then you brought up Holiday and Beal as possible options. As if either team would have any interest in such a trade. Unless Bledsoe is just a throw in to match salaries. He most certainly is not a centerpiece type player.

Instead of calling folks names just state your case and respond with a few facts instead of getting your shorts in a bunch.

Bucks have extended a QO to Brogdon... it is rumored to be one that is tempting for Malcom to accept, If Brogdon accepts it, he will never enter free agency (restricted ot unrestricted)...

It has to be mentioned that the Bucks do expect their players to come back on a team friendly deal and most players seem to agree with this, but everybody also appreciates that Brogdon was in his rookie contract up to now and therefore his contribution to the discount expected should be less thanother players...

Nevertheless, if Brogdon & Hill resign with the Bucks, then trading Bledsoe after September (he can't be traded before) looks like a very sensible move for the Bucks to do.

We aren't going round in circles. You made a baseless assertion and just keep arguing that it is legitimate.

It isn't. The Bucks may trade Bledsoe but they aren't getting anything close to Holiday or Beal back in return.

Bledsoe isn't an expiring contract dummy! What you quote on has nothing to do with anything I ever said. You reply on a fiction your mind created.

Did you actually just say Brogdon’s QO is tempting?

The QO is a formality. It is 1 year for like 1.9 million.

That is not tempting for a player that is going to get at least 4 years 60 million on the market. He is not signing the QO. Not even a consideration unless he wants to reach UFA next year and leave Milwaukee.

With the Pistons and Nets stepping up to contend in the East and all Bulls, Hawks and Magic looking to establish themselves as playoff teams, as well as the Knicks looking ambitiously towards the future, I can't see the Hornets competing with other than the Cavs for who will end up at the bottom of the East next season...

Rosier IMO, will have Orlando all over him during next week.
The Pistons are stepping up to compete for what!?!

Derrick Rose is the only guy on the planet who gets hurt more than Blake Griffin.

Lopez 52M/4... A little more than 9M for next season... As predicted, exactly as much as the MLE is...
