The Hornets didn't extend a QO on Kaminsky, who therefore becomes an unrestricted free agent.

As expected, the Bucks claimed waivers on George Hill's contract which was only guarranteed for 1M next season...

The Bucks are expected to resign Hill on a team friendly deal next week after Hill expressed his willing to rejoin the team during his season exit interview ... Frank Kaminsky is also targeted by the Bucks and it appears that the interest is mutual.

It beats me... They refused to trade Kaminsky to the Bucks during last Feb's deadline and now they are loosing Kemba to the Celtics, they also let Frank walk... go figure...

@buckalis Don't listen to this jackass. Your thread here is just fine.

I had said on RealGM roughly a month ago the Bucks needed to bring back George Hill due to Eric Bledsoe's questionable three-point shooting. Good for them if they could move quickly toward a new deal...

Not sure Kaminsky is a good fit due to his lack of defense, however. Though if anyone could mold him into a system player, it would be coach Bud I suppose.

Sign Terry Rozier, trade for Andrew Wiggins, and compete for 9th place in the East for the next 5 years

Am I correct in guessing that the woman in your av is the latest to file a restraining order against you?

Congratulations, you must have hit over 1000 by now.

I agree... Hill is a perfect and important fit for the Bucks coming from bench to rotate both on Bledsoe at 1or on Brogdon at 2... He should get a three years contract so that the Bucks have the time to fully develop Donte Divincenzo as to take that roll...

IMO, what the Bucks should look for in order to upgrade the starting roster further this season, is to trade Bledsoe for a better PG after they finish with free agency.
It won't be easy to do so after this free agency ends since all the better PGs will have settled with other teams, but what the Bucks could do, is to trade Bledsoe for another combo guard (Jrue Holliday?) and move Brogdon back to PG in the starting roster.

Frank OTOH, I believe is very good fit for the Bucks system... He is good shooter and is quicker to the ball than Lopez and with better dribbling too... he would therefore provide another threat next to Giannis who can pick and roll or pick and pop the ball in cooperation with the guards and Middleton.

With the Pistons and Nets stepping up to contend in the East and all Bulls, Hawks and Magic looking to establish themselves as playoff teams, as well as the Knicks looking ambitiously towards the future, I can't see the Hornets competing with other than the Cavs for who will end up at the bottom of the East next season...

Rosier IMO, will have Orlando all over him during next week.

Why would the Pelicans trade Holiday for Bledsoe?

Trades have to help both teams.

Why?

That is essentially all they have been doing the last few years anyway.

Yep even if they sign Kemba to a supermax they cannot add anyone. They are fucked eithee way

Jordan just is not a good owner.

He doesn’t want to tank and I doubt he will ever be willing or able to pay tax for more than a year or two. They look like a team perpetually stuck in the middle.

Why in the world would the Pelicans trade Holiday for Bledsoe? Are the Bucks giving them a bunch of picks as well?

I think they are the only team to never have paid the tax.

It's just an example in a parenthesis for what the Bucks should look for as to improve, it should read like Bledsoe for (J.Holiday or B.Beal or other)... and yes, there is a reason...

Bledsoe is a starting PG that costs 10M less than the combo players mentioned... If packed up with an expiring contract, he would create another 10M of cap space to use, for a team that plans to contend a season later...

The sad thing is this would’ve happened if they had any cap space.
