Really it makes sense . It's a lot easier to set aside 3 hours early on Saturday for most people than it is to set aside 3 hours later . My wife diesht give a shit what I do Saturday morning but most if my afternoons and evenings are spoken for unless iowa is playing ( then she knows better )

By all means, carry on, I was happy to watch something good at noon. Not prime time, but the Alabama game was at 7, so I was gonna watch all day anyway. I like it better than CBS stretching the LSU-Auburn game out to the length of two feature films.

Programs should be limited to like 2 early games a year. OU just had their 5th in a row. The merchants around campus hate them.

I love noon games. I hate waiting all day to see the Buckeyes play.

I do understand the impact on recruiting visitors, etc. Most high schools play on Friday night and it's a tough deal to get them there for a noon game. OTOH, if you win it makes for a great visit with plenty of time for recruits to spend with coaches, etc without all of the pregame stress.

If you lose, it sucks either way.
