I got a weird FedEx package left for me this morning. Addressed to California but found its way here. Just a bunch of papers that say "Eat a dick" in large letters and different fonts.

Same here. All external doors and garage are keypad locks without bluetooth. I have a physical key very well hidden inside the garage. All I carry is my car key, it's a little too old to use the phone. My next one will.

I have a few keys to rooms at work, and those are all in my laptop bag.

I wasn't quite willing to go keypad on the patio door because I have to have a pet-sitter come in a couple weeks a year when traveling (not this year, obviously). She's GREAT with the cat, but isn't nearly as good with people and gets frazzled pretty easily* so I wanted a regular door for her still.

Also upgraded the garage door with the Chamberlain MyQ (which does use WiFi, so some risk there, but limited I think), but that way I can even get in through the garage as long as I have my phone.

* - Cool story bro time: The old lock could be a little tricky sometimes. I was traveling to the literal other side of the world and upon touching down in Jakarta had a series of messages from the pet sitter, my mom (who was the emergency contact with the sitter at the time), and my girlfriend (we had been dating only a few months, so she had a key but we weren't living together yet. Pet sitter couldn't get the door unlocked, panicked, called my mom. Mom lives 600 miles away, so she calls GF, who has to leave work to go over and help the pet sitter, who was practically hyperventilating by that point, get in the house. Cat probably didn't even notice.

I started following dave wasserman in 2016 a week before the election after he drew attention by calling trump to win in the face of all the national/state polling that showed hillary was going to win. His complaint back then was the polling isnt/wasnt bad ... its just people (media) were/are looking at the wrong polls ... ie not drilling down to the district level ... the last few weeks he has been saying this election is nothing like 2016
