sounds about right.
Also, the last residential school closed in 1996!

for our USA folks, residential school program is one of Canadian history's black eyes
for the past 100 years, white folks (started by the church, continued by the government) pulled first nation children as young as 4 years old off of their reservations into boarding schools to assimilate them to western ways. to "kill the Indian in the child".
about 150,000 kids were dragged from their families and homes over the years. an estimated 3-6,000 of them died at the schools. A lot of the rest were treated pretty horribly.

What a coward - Oh and that somebody is the president, so yeah, it's a valid question.

Kevin McCarthy Blows Up Over Reporter's 'Kung Flu' Question
Well, he's not totally wrong about the importance and it left the reporter to ask another telling question...

Now that you've brought that up...what is the President doing to help quell the virus ramp up other than using a derogatory and offensive term for the virus?

I think he is totally wrong about the importance of the question.

It is a very important question for the reporter to ask. Racist undertones aside, the POTUS using a derogatory and flippant name for a deadly virus undercuts the impacts it has had, and is having, on Americans. Such flippancy also muddles any message of urgency being conveyed to Americans about how seriously they need to take this virus, thereby undermining attempts to curtail the spread.

IMO, it was a 100% spot on question.

Kenney is such human garbage. He's said he won't fire this guy either. This is pretty disgusting. I hope this whole UCP experiment dies a horrific death. For that matter conservatism in North America needs to be burned to the ground and rebuilt.

Kenney is such a tool.

Absolutely not. They looked at the other garages and I believe not a single other one had a similar noose-style rope pull.

Apparently they had video of previous events that showed it was there long before the garage was assigned to the team.

So, you know, it was just a casually made "every day" type noose.
