Because of this fucking lockout the Sabres first four games down the toilet and they were good games too !!!

Oct. 13 against Pittsburgh.
Oct. 16 against Detroit.
Oct. 19 against the New York Rangers.
Oct. 24 against New Jersey.

They better get this mess fixed !!!!!!!

Passed my annual physical Wednesday so that's good new's. Still need another doppler to see if they are going to go in and remove the clot. I was told that it was more serious than I thought and the doc told me that because of it's location and how it was "positioned" they were right in calling the ambulance to get me in and have the filter installed. He said "you're very lucky that we are talking right now".

That's pretty scary shit man. I will need the filter (that they put in my main artery or vein) taken out because, get this "They have found they are failing in a good number of cases" That's just great ! That news came out two days after they installed it. Anyway, lets hope the blood thinners work and they can get the damn thing out.

It has been one god damn stressful last few months but just try and keep a smile on my face and hope things work out for the best. I am staying with my son just in case something were to happen (my doctors request). Oh well, the first hundred years are the hardest and I'm over half way there.

Damn, You got hit hard too and it does suck for the Kings. I heard a good line on the radio yesterday. "The NHL had a great year last year and they are screwing it up, it's like taking a Brinks truck and driving it off of a cliff"

I don't think they let the season go, but 4 games is just the beginning. I don't think we see any hockey for the rest of 2012. The two sides don't appear to be talking about anything real b/c neither seems to be moving from their position.

I agree, It would shit can some of the good strides they made in the last few years. TV ratings were doing fine the WC was doing great ! This is just horrible timing.

I know what you mean this whole damn thing is really starting to piss me off. Reading an article in the news and they were talking about the trickle down effect for businesses around the arena plus the fact that the arena will be empty because those dates were reserved for the Sabres.

All of the vendors, ticket takers, ushers, parking attendants they even listed scalpers and so many other people out of work because these millionaires can't decide how to dibby up a billion dollar pie. It really is sickening to think of all the hard working people being hurt by this. Too bad the owners and players don't give a shit about them.

It seriously hurts so much more than the fans. The cab drivers, the local bars, all the jobs, and then there is the fans.

I dont really want to blame owners and players for liking money (I like it, too) but it is too fucking ridiculous. Hopefully these secret Daly/NHLPA meetings today mean something.
