Another mental error that hopefully wont end up costing us the game: Marte pulls up on a steal attempt and gets caught in a rundown. Would have been safe had he stayed committed to the steal....poor decision and not a physical error but a mental one.

Mariners have played the most 1-run games in MLB. Looking like it very well could be another one today....

Non all-star Kyle Seager does it again, though you may have missed it if you gave up on your team in the 2nd inning...
So you've NEVER left a game to go do something constructive? EVER? :L

I've seen even the most ardent of fans here take a game or a few innings off when they are playing this frustratingly bad. I guess you don't EVER miss even an inning do you.

Luckily those of us that have stuck around got to see non all-star Kyle Seager with a base path blunder. Oooh, lucky us!

Yeah, it's just my luck that I come back in from the yard just in time to see that instead of his homer. But hey, the yard looks outstanding so there's that.

So can they finish above .500 before the break or not? Does it really matter at this point? Sure, lots of baseball left, but this team has shown it isn't anywhere near ready to make a run in the post season. Starting pitchers returning or not. Way too many unforced errors and mental blunders.

I got home just in time to see them go 0 for last 5 to end game. Sounds like I didn't miss much other than a Seager homer and some kind of Seager gaff.

Never said that or even close. Still really lame to give up on your team in the 2nd inning though.

Follow this team much do you? :noidea:

I've seen even the anchors of this board do the very same thing and take off even a whole weekend because of how frustrating this team is. They are now 1-11 in their last dozen road games. That's seriously frustrating.

Excuse me if I decided to go ahead and get chores done after watching Miley start off another bad start. Next time I'll check with you to see if it's OK first.

What made life more enjoyable on here was hitting 'Ignore' to spectators so I could just enjoy the fans on here. It really has made my time on here enjoyable. Just saying.

It would be kinda good from a phycological standpoint to be above .500 at the All Star break... I seriously doubt this team can do much though in the second half regardless.... Felix coming back will be a lift to our starting pitching but I don't know if that's enough... They just haven't turned a corner as a team yet, there stuck in neutral ...

Not when you consider that Mont:gaah:mery's pitching tomorrow. That's pretty much a white flag before the break.

Only once that fucking Lincoln is towed out of the team office will we ever be ready for anything. He is the chief saboteur, and he must be loving the fact that we keep throwing games away.

Tony Zych (shoulder) isn't expected to return before September.

Zych's recovery from tendinitis in his rotator cuff is going slowly, as he's had multiple setbacks. He hasn't appeared in a game since May 1 and it doesn't appear he's resumed a throwing program.

Dude, anyone that spends as much time on these boards as much as we all do deserve a g** damn day or two off from watching this shit show, and should be allowed to do so without the dedication police calling out that peace of mind if only for an afternoon. Come on guy, the dudes grass was getting as long as our playoff-less streak. Let the man mow in peace before sacrificing his sanity to a Seager fielding error let alone one of his base running blunders. Whether you're a fan of this team that always thinks we'll win the next one or the fan that always finds the negative no matter the winning streak, the guys on THIS board are the last ones to question their loyalty because we're always here win or lose; mostly lose. I say crack a beer and mow that shit! We'll see you back sooner rather than later :suds:

Montgomery is pitching his butt off today!! Let's end this one on a high note!

Since I am the only one posting here I assume everyone else is watching without posting? Better not be doing yard work, that's all I'm saying.......
