I don't get that personally. Paxton pitched eight Innings give up only two runs Cishek pitched .1 Innings and gave up two runs. How can you blame Paxton. He's not the one that gave up the lead

Problem is the margin for error on this team is so slim. They play more 1 run games then anyone and are like 2-12 in the last 14 of them. Something as little as throwing to a wrong base can cost you a game. It would be the same as a guy going 3-3 at the plate and making an error in Field to a cost a run in a close game.

Bottom line is we seem to be paying for most of our mistakes. I won't say it's all Paxton's fault but he needs to make that play.

Listening to goldsmith and blowers talk gives me a headache. Goldsmith NEVER shuts up with stats over and over and over.

Both of them with that monotone nasally voice that never shuts up is like sandpaper on my eardrums.

I don't get why seager cut that off but it may have handed KC a free run for no reason. You guys wonder why they lose close games it's because they do weird crap like that.

That's more like it, 2 runs on a wild pitch!

phew! 3-0 count with two on wasn't ideal, but that kid just finds a way to get the outs he needs.

Cishek is not a closer... He's a great guy to bring in against RH pitching and that's about it... He shouldn't be called on to pitch against LH's in a tight game... Most of the damage has come from LH's this season so far... Especially the past few months... Just my two cents... He almost lost it again for us today after Iwa pitched a solid game...

A save for Cishank? What the hell happened, did Servais drop an ultimatum on his ass or something??

Good to be on the north side of a 1 run game for a change. Outstanding work from Kuma.

Hitting the next batter after the lead off double didn't help matters either... Pax gave up only 2 runs in 8 innings, not going to fault him for that... Cishek's job is to come in and shut the door... He's 2-5 on the season as a closer... The M's are the 3rd worst team in baseball for blown saves... Hopefully Diaz can be that closer we groom ourselves for the future... Tired of these retreads...
For me it's the fact that Paxton DECIDED not to go for the double play but instead put 2 guys in scoring position. You are going to get beat every now and then by the other guys (they are trying to win too, after all) but when presented with a choice in a game, you should make the right one. That's a mental error. Cishek didn't decide to hit a batter (although hitting that guy with a runner on 2nd was way better than a wild pitch putting a guy on 3rd) or give up runs. Paxton also didn't decide to give up those 2 runs in the 8th, but his mental error set the table and made that physical mistake costly.

I wonder which Wade Miley we'll see today. He's starting to remind me a bit of Dave Krieg -- hot or cold, awesome or terrible. Not that it means a whole lot, but he's 4-1 in his career vs KC with a 2.91 ERA. Hopefully that is in line with what we get today.

Mind boggling how Seager is having trouble with routine plays lately. He was clearly going home there but bobbled the transfer and had to go 1st.

Well at least Miley blew it early enough that I can justify going out to do some yard work instead of sitting around watching this bullshit all afternoon.

Non all-star Kyle Seager does it again, though you may have missed it if you gave up on your team in the 2nd inning...
