Without Lynch, do you really think the Sea Hawks win a Super Bowl?? Without Zeke, you can speculate that Dallas would be just as good, but I will point to 2015 when they had McFadden and finished what 3-13?? Henry and Howard are good RBs I will grant you, but Im not seeing game changer. Im not seeing a guy that teams have to respect. And simply put, we dont have that guy on roster in DC right now.

Now I agree we MIGHT be able to find that guy in the 2nd or 3rd round. But much like we spent years looking for above average to great O-lineman in the later rounds... at what point do you decide.. .this guy can be special and just take him. I agree if there is a difference maker on defense at 17, we take him. But if there is a difference maker at RB there at 17.... I for one wont shed a single tear if we take him.

Maybe. Maybe not. But he wasn't close to the most valuable member of that team. As for 2015 Dallas. They had romo for just 4 games. No shocker there.

I saw a tweet today that said running backs are like sunglasses. You can pay $100 for a pair but once you break them you learn buying cheap glasses at a gas station works too.

I think that sums it up pretty nicely.

Four years from now I suspect they will have 1/3rd of that. And again.. even if they cant resign him, you think they are really going to be upset over spending the #4 pick if Zeke gives them an average of 1400 yards a year and helps keep Dak healthy. Some how I dont think they will be too upset.

I'm sure they think they made the right move but that doesn't mean they actually shouldve done what they did. Taking zeke worked out about as well as it possibly could've for them and they still would've been better off taking Ramsey and adding a rb later. I think that really says it all about taking a 1st round rb.

keeping up with the previous threads -- ILB Foster and Reddick have been drafted, C.Davis, Ross, Peppers, Obi, Cook & McCaffery are available. Mahommes, and other top DB/OLB prospects are there too.
Is Lamp likely the BPA for "this" team @17?

I would consider trading back maybe. You could draft Lamp later on in the 1st rd.

If we draft Mixon in the 2nd rd or the 3rd rd I'm doing back flips. But I see at least 4 other backs I like in the later rds Sty. Skins drafting Mixon is only wishful thinking.

That's exactly what it is!!........AND......it's the best move that this team could make!

Oh I agree. He could make KC better as well. But who ever have the pleasure of drafting him will most definitely jump start their Off.

To me the biggest problem with a likely signing of Josh Gordon and going after a premier RB in this draft, It gives me that gnawing feeling in the pit of my stomach that Kirk won't be the beneficiary behind center. I don't know what it is, but, knowing that Bruce usually does the exact opposite of what he says, has lot to do with it.

Totally agree that trying to add Gordon and drafting a top talent RB sounds like a setup to get rid of Kirk.

I have come to the conclusion that I dont know yet how Dan and Bruce are going to fuck this up. But Im relatively confident that much like Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park... dumb fuck will find a way. :thumb:

I see that as a possibility too, I expect a league wide panic with the QB situation.
browns, jets, bears, jags, broncos, vikings, cardinals, 49ers, 'skins
Cutler and Romo are not long term fixes and until Cousins is signed long term we don't have a QB in '18.
lots of option until we know, but i do see a scenario where someone comes for the 17th -- i'm not too familiar with those draft charts but maybe the 17th could get us the 30th and 3rd or better???
