Foles contract is cheap for starting QBs. Someone will snag him up.

Belichick picks up Nick Foles & a draft pick for cheap, which gives him 3 years (I believe) to groom the future.

I guess I am not following the Jags logic on this one.
Keeping both Minshew & Foles isnt expensive for that position. Gives great depth.
Now trading him means saving some cap space the next couple years but my understanding is they will have to give up a draft pick to make the trade & then also have to replace him for depth.
I wouldnt want to be a Jags fan for the next few years.
BTW other than Minshews hot start, really wasnt that good. (good gimmick though)

You can't make decision like this because of Flash in the pan performance. Sure Minshew looked alright because NFL teams were really that aware of him. That changes when they full on game plan on a guy.
