ABC crowd care to comment ? CDC was supposed to be a great long ball thrower for those thinking his outlier year was the norm

In and effort to be fair, Kirk Cousin's had a poor game today. He threw a pick, had a fumble and threw for less than 170 yards. Much less than the 300+ yards Alex Smith threw for.

The fumble wasn’t a fumble...Cook dropped the pitch. They credit the QB.

KC only threw 22 times. Just saying.

Since my GF was in Cleveland watching Elton John I stayed home instead of going to the sports bar we normally go to. Didn't see the play and I understood he only threw the ball 22 times with a completion percentage of almost 82%. The post was more tongue in cheek than anything. Rea

As you well know if we did (the past three years) like someone is now where we said KC played pretty well but got no help we would have to listen to all the excuses why it was his fault. Instead of dropped passes we would have heard about missed throws, instead of poor defense we would have how he didn't make his teammates better etc.

Yeah, but he threw 3 INTs. He sucks.

Cousins outshines Rodgers in divisional battle (ESPN)

This despite his team missing two FGs; Stefan Diggs making and almost great catch on an equally great pass but dropping the ball as he went to the ground. 342 yards, 76% completion, 3 TDs, 0 picks.

We sure could use some of that production from our QB position.

Nah...you ABCers don’t understand KC only does this because of great WRs and he throws it all the time.

For what it's worth Wilson and Cousin's do not have 100 yards passing combined with just a hair over 6 minutes to go in the third quarter.

Yeah, I am wondering about Zimmer in this game. He is trying to force a run game that isn't there.

It's a defensive struggle, the rules prohibit amassing a lot of offensive yardage or scoring :D

What Bugger is saying right now is right on Flip and Zimmer have two different plans. If you hire an OC you have to let him be the OC. It is fine if Zimm wants to run the ball but the Viking offense line has not done well with the run most of the year and they have struggled in pass protection. Guess damned if you do and damned if you don't.

To be fair they've had their share of injuries on the offensive line this year.

He's also right about there being a lot of talk about Kirk and if he was the right choice, but mark this day down, if they stick with him and get healthy, he will produce for them. I'm not sure about his penchant to under perform on Nat. TV, maybe he also gets over that as well. They have too much talent on that team to continue losing to teams with winning records, so they will get some wins against those teams as well. It's a bad year for the Vikes in relation to last year. Expectations were very high going into this season and perhaps Kirk still hasn't completely cleansed himself of the stench he got while playing here. All in all, a transition year for Kirk, I think that next year he truly earns his money.

Wahhhhh again. LOL Actually I pointed out he was having a bad game.

No, I haven't changed my mind, I would have kept Cousin's over Smith but Allen had a bug up his ass about Cousin's, probably because he was better than his 47 pick 2nd round pick several years ago.

Now I will say I started following the Vikes this year along with the Skins and at first I was thinking, WOW what a 1st class organization. I have been a Zimmer fan for sometime. Not sure if I am right but I think we tried to get him here one time. Anyhow, he is on his third OC since he has been there or the equivalent of Jay with DCs. That isn't really good whether you have Bridgewater, Bradford, Keenum or Cousin's. But what the hell I am just an excuse maker. :pound::lol::noidea:

Sounds like a nice backhanded compliment to me sty, but I agree! The record against winning teams really can’t be overlooked with those playmakers he has. I excused that here cuz he didn’t have those playmakers. He was the most competent qb skins have had in years, as I’ve always said, but you just can’t ignore all of the criticism he gets. They look to be fair evaluations to me
