Sure. It's not abnormal considering it's a game and our enjoyment of it is always going to be influenced by other things in our lives. If your prioritizing it over your family, job, health, ect, ect then you have bigger issues than the status of your fantasy teams. I dealt with major family issues with my former step children and ultimately a failed marriage in 2006-2007 and then more family issues in my immediate family when my mother passed away suddenly in 2009-2010 and during both of those time frames I found it difficult to keep up my usual level or participation in my FFB not to mention other areas of my life. If you have to step back to deal with real life issues then you should do so and not feel bad about it and anyone who gives you crap about it isn't worth your time.

Good Luck whichever way you go.

Well said Zep well said:clap:

I had forgotten just how ugly those uni's were. Geesh, almost makes the 'Stros brown rainbows tolerable.

ol J R Richards always looked scary good in that uni

not to mention Mike Scott and Nolan

Been in the same 14 team money league for over 10yrs with local friends and their friends, but not finding any excitement for the upcoming season.

I can be replaced rather quickly but fear that if I do drop out..... then come Sept. Oct. I'll find myself missing it and pissed off that I did. It's not that I've had a string of bad seasons (won the SB last year and 2005) just don't know why I feel "meh" about it.

Anyone else gone through this?

Probably because everyone outside of the first round is being criticized to some extent or another.

Hey, it's not the Cardinals fault that they play a boring sport.
wait a second....maybe it is their fault!

Baseball in general needs an overhaul, imo. Their fans are getting older and dying, and I'm not sure this next generation cares much about the sport.

The whole steroids things has hurt the sport. But there are also some terrible GMs who do platoons with talented players. Also GMs move pitchers to another team to stunt their development(Bauer) and they have to get used to a newer scheme. Also, I think some more colorful uniforms could help. And baseball doesnt get televised enough like NFL. Some people just don't want to see one baseball game on free tv a week. And Fox does not do as good of a job with baseball. CBS or NBC need to start airing MLB games.

Update:

Got a call from the commish 2 days ago and said the league was done. He wanted to add a flex player to the line-up, others didn't like the idea and said they weren't staying in. Commish said fuck it then, the leagues done.

Not really surprised cause the commish has had the best of runs for quite a while. He was thinking of getting out a few years ago but stayed in. Just think this was his excuse for getting out and be done with it.

Wonder if he'll let me keep the SB trophy since I'll be the last SB winner??
