So if this is coming from an NFL exec then why wouldn't that team take him prior the 5th rd? Your projection makes no sense. I don't care if the exec works for the Colts or Packers - you would still draft a guy like this earlier than the 5th if you really believed that projection (or at least some team would).
Sure the Prescott pick worked out (as did Wilson & Cousins), but these are the exceptions. Also - after seeing Prescott succeed many teams will be more likely to reach for QBs in the draft. So your strategy is replacing a sure thing with a complete gamble? Good luck with that.
