Many years ago when I used to chat in the DMN room ..hosted by my hero Richard Durrett. I was living in Charlotte NC ..I was going to a hickory crawdad game . I asked Rich who should I keep an eye on . He told me " watch this kid Martin Perez " . I got a seat behind home plate . He was 19 . I was blown away , he was really good . I guess that TJ surgery didn't get him back to his old self .
