Football 2016, Oregon at Nebraska

You guys escape some of the big time players in the B1G this year. Just get Ohio State, so your conference schedule sets up nicely for a decent year. However, Riley is good for one upset a year, but also good for losing one game he is suppose to win.

Even with your favorable schedule, I see Nebraska winning 8-9 games this year with Riley at the helm.

I will take a nine win season right now and call it a great season.

I will take the over 70 points or whatever it will be, have to see the two offenses. Oregon has a new OC, who is probably pass happy based on being a receivers coach.

Oregon has no clue who their starter is at QB, Nebraska does. If Nebraska can take away your QB and just force you to make Royce Freeman run, there is hope for the Cornhuskers.

Prukop or Jonsen will be our QB. Prukop is said to be better then Adams, and unlike Adams he had Spring practice to learn the offense and a lot more time with the offense and teammates then Adams did coming in August.

Jonsen is a 4 star QB recruit who has had some time learning the offense and redshirted has also time to develop and grow. He could be a great QB just like Mariota was as making an immediate impact.

We also have a stable of RBs and our WR core is stacked.

At Oregon we reload, its plug and chug. Riley has seen Oregons up tempo style of football for 7 years and got hammered 7 straight times, except for one or two games where it was close. I was always amazed at how you lived 45 minutes away from your rival and could never quiet figure them out to even make a game competitive.

THey were the winner goes to the Rose bowl game, where OSU was ranked. the other was that heroic ending by Mariota game winning drive.

I sure hope gameday goes to Lincoln for this game. It would get Oregon great publicity. You guys don't win when Gameday goes to Lincoln, and Corso loves the Ducks.

Remember Oregon at Michigan 2007? I have a similar feeling the same thing happens this year with Oregon at Nebraska.

Here is a great stat. Richmond held Virginia to 20. Oregon gave up 26 to Virginia. And Oregon could only score one more touchdown than the mighty Richmond Spiders.

My youngest son told us he was doing LARPing at college, he is a Freshman. He is a nerd.

Needless to say, he did not bother to show up for the LARPing meetups because well he is a freshman and he barely knew how to find his dormitory. But he is doing Quidditch and he actually sticks a broom between his legs and runs around. OMFG!!!

I had to explain to my wife what LARPing was.
