Because none of them made any sense at all. It’s awful to franchise someone and block them from making 10’s of millions and living where they want. But it’s OK to do the exact same thing if they start. That’s was ridiculous.
We aren’t talking about franchising someone right now, only you are. Again u fail to understand

@SteelersPride i have no idea why you face palmed this because it’s exactly what he said.
But I know your routine. No matter what it is... you’ll disagree. Even if I directly post what someone else said. But I know your hyper focus. The Eagles can respect Foles and pass up a great 2nd round pick out of respect for Foles. The Eagles can give him a massive pay raise when they didn’t have to out of respect. The Eagles can hand him a free extra million bucks for a goal he didn’t reach. Then Foles asked if he can add in a 2 million dollar buy out and the Eagles said yes out of respect. But after all this bending over backwards they are a shitty organization for doing what every single team does almost every single year with their first round picks.

You fail to understand that is exactly what we are talking about. How can you not see that. You’re joking right? That is the point I brought up to show what Philly is potentially going to do to Foles. Or am I lost and we’re not talking about Foles. You guys... I just don’t know what to say sometimes

Damn...You guys are in cap hell. I guess that's what happens when you win the Super Bowl as a non Patriots franchise.

Indianapolis may f*cking explode in free agency. Wow.

NFL 2019 Salary Cap Tracker
I thought the Cowboys were missing from that list. I'm not used to finding them in the top half of cap space...:D

Well u come up with pure idiocy on all fronts, and will never acknowledge others points of view. Much like other topics I’m done with ya.

Tell me what was idiotic about my point because it was too easy to show the stupidity of Mansters argument. And you ain’t done with me. You’ll post my name to 50 topics before Sunday night and start a few threads about how the Eagles are awful or how Wentz isn’t good. No way you ignore me... but you should on this topic cause I’m schooling you.

U realize we need to have a discussion for u to school
Me right? Again u can’t be that dumb. Also I haven’t started the wentz threads again, u dunno what ur talking about. And I’ll easily ignore u just like I did in the foles thread, when I said I would. Except for my check ins for u, because u care about my posting.

Exactly! All views that aren’t yours on all topics are terrible! You don’t acknowledge there are schools of thought besides your own. Have a nice night.

I’m not talking about Foles. I’m talking about the same exact thing. Exercising the teams right on the contract they signed. Foles and Franchised guys and 5th year options are all the same exact thing. Teams blocking players from UFA
I disagree. I think in almost every one of those circumstances those teams pick up the option because they are willing to pay it to have the player play on their team. I'm not saying what Philly did was wrong. But I feel it was different.

The biggest question to me now that Foles opted out is will Sudfeld be ready to play by December :rolleyes2:

In that regard you are right but it has NOTHING to do with my point. But my point was people were saying Philly are being dicks for blocking Foles ability to make tons of money and choose his own team EXACTLY like teams block a players ability to make tons and choose their own team. Your point about them playing on their team has nothing to do with my point. That’s a different discussion and topic.
Again, it’s like saying “Philly are dicks for blocking Foles from a large multi year contract and to play for the team he chooses. But it’s OK to block a players right to get a large multi year deal for the team he chooses if they stay on the same team. That doesn’t make sense.

The big question is will Philly now tag Foles. I know Philly is high on Sudfeld but he has almost zero experience. He did shread Dallas and outplay Dak in his last regular season game :)

That's all I'm saying. If the Eagles planned on Foles being an Eagle I'd have no issue with the decision.

But it is different. You can say those teams are blocking their players but their reason for doing what they did was because they wanted those players on their team. They used their powers within the contracts and league rules to have those players put on their uniform and win them games. That is how the league works or you have every player going ot the highest bidder every year. Philly may be doing the same with Foles with regards to keeping him from going where he wants but their reason for doing it has nothing to do with wanting him on their team and that is why it is different. They are strictly doing it to move him for the best return. They may give him some say in where he goes but they are signing him with no desire to have him be on their team. Again, I don't have a problem with it but it is not the same.
