The Eagles tried to keep Foles for 20 million because he's a wonderful Quarterback.

Write it your way though.
It doesn't make you look all short bus or nothing.
:dhd:

Cap wise, is there any way Foles and Wentz can be on the Eagles in 19?

They could make it work if they wanted to.

But it will be a full-blown quarterback controversy, with the media, fans, everybody chiming in on who should be starting and who holds the clipboard.

It will be like having Harry Potter and Voldemort on the team.

Yeah and the can fill all those roster spots with hoopsters. We'd all play for league minimum.
Philly's roster is already to going to see a drop off in talent.
Silly Silly

Problem with this is, the team is already over the cap with only 43 +/- players on the 2019 roster. They have to cut and or trade big contracts to find money to fill out the rest of the roster. Foles would most likely be one of those cut/trades. If they keep both QBs they'd have to cut deeper into the current roster and pray every rookie is a NFL player.
There is no intention for Foles to be an Eagle next season

Well then what in hell does Zeke have to do with the whole shit show in Filthy.

The Eagles forced Foles to pay them 2M for the right to go someplace on his terms.

Again, we all know Foles will not be in Philly next season, yet the Eagles after doing the right thing for Foles turned around and fucked him.

I hope they tag him and no teams trade for his rights.

Shit show in Philly? A tad dramatic, no? So ridiculous.

What Zeke has to do with it is you said the Eagles are burning Foles from becoming a UFA. Dallas is doing the same thing to Zeke picking up his 5th year option. Same exact scenario but somehow I doubt you criticize Dallas.
Shit show in Philly... absolutely ridiculous

Again fucknuts. As of right now Zeke would be picked up to be the starter on the team not to be used in a trade. If the Eagles pick up Wentz's option I'd have no complaint.

Question for you. How are you this fucking stupid?

One has to wonder if the treatment of Foles here will make others think twice about signing option deals NFL wide, especially with Philly or those you have to pay to get out?

Maybe they will blame, and you also, their agents because Foles agent evidently was the one who asked for it. Nick Foles asked the Eagles, “If I pay you 2 million can I be a FA again”. This is such a small non issue that you want to be a huge deal cause you hate the Eagles

Oh, it’s OK to block Zeke from making a 100 million and playing where he wants just as long as you make him the starter. Ridiculous

You are one dense moron. Simple question for you. What were the chances Foles would have been on the opening day roster?

Having looked at the Foles contract again i'm of the opinion Foles would NOT count towards the 2020 compensatory pick formula if he was to leave the Eagles as a FA in March. The precedent for this is Steven Jackson's departure from the Rams. Jackson didn't count towards the compensatory pick formula because the Rams altered his contract within its final 12 months. The Eagles altered Foles contract in April 2018. I'm not 100% certain of the rules here. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Cap wise was easy (only 29.1 million total), but that ship sailed when Foles opted out, not when the Eagles opted in.

The rules are actually uncertain around compensatory picks. The league doesn't publish their formula.

None. So what? That changes nothing. Why do you continually insulting me is pointless and just shows you have no ability to construct a counter argument

Nope. That's your problem.

When other posters present them to you, you either ignore them or call them trolling nonsense. That's the reason why after that you get all the trolling nonsense you deserve.

Constantly calling you a moron is the easiest counter to the dumb shit you post.

Dude he’s laid out a few. U don’t acknowledge them. Hence y u r dense

Because none of them made any sense at all. It’s awful to franchise someone and block them from making 10’s of millions and living where they want. But it’s OK to do the exact same thing if they start. That’s was ridiculous.

Dumb shit. My arguments made sense and you had nothing to say but call me a moron cause you know my point trumps your moronic take.

You literally said, “It’s awful to tag someone keeping them away from making 10’s of millions and choosing where they want to live but it’s fine if you do that and let them start. That’s literally your point and you call me an idiot. Jesus man...
