All seriousness though, I'm fine with it. Decent stop gap type signing.

Fine with it. Just a body to fill a depleted D-core. Allows Ghost to get sent down where he belongs.
Carlo will be the 8th defenseman by the time AMac and Coburn are back.

But for now.. this defense really is the island of misfit toys..

On a side note.. has anybody else been really pleased with MDZ's play the last 2-3 games? He led the team in minutes the last two games and has really been getting more comfortable and confident, at least in my opinion. An MDZ-Coburn top pairing could be intriguing...

I think just about everyone has said it...he's a placeholder that allows Ghost to go back to the AHL and develop. When healthy he was a decent player...the operative word is when....Really really need all four forward lines to backcheck and we will be okay.

Yep good move although Manning didn't look bad wonder if he stays up? MDZ is playing better every game he just has to not try and do too much. If he does that he can be solid may be a steal...
