From what I saw looks about right. Timonen was pretty good too but overall looks like they can roll 4 lines now guys are in the correct positions. The D has some depth so they shouldn't wear down looks like Berube is rotating them in and out and everyone is playing pretty well. Happy for Emery!

Kimmo actually played well tonight for a change - he bodied up Malkin well a few times, especially late

Let's just keep the effort that they've shown in the last 2 games going.
They can compete with anyone when they actually play hard for 60 minutes.

1-B Schenn 2 goals six hits
2- Emery Razor was sharp
3-Coburn even though he made a few mistakes along the way he played a monster game and logged almost 30 minutes

1. Mason - another strong performance.. almost saved the 2 points for the flyers by himself in the 3rd
2. Coburn - very strong game, especially in OT.. loved his aggressive-ness tonight
3. Pavelec - flyers should've won it in OT, he stood tall

Goats
1. Houston Airport - coming up on a 3 hour delay now.. i kinda wanted to sleep at some point tonight.. woulda been cool.
2. the shoot - it sucks.
3. the jets - for being 5-1 in teh shootout already. what a steaming pile of shit they are for going to 6 shootouts already. nice "lets get it to a shootout every game so we can make the playoffs with our garbage team that's good at shootouts" strategy. assholes.

1) Steve Mason - He was spectacular and made some big saves to keep it tied late - Flyers sat back so much in the 2nd part of the game and he kept the game alive
2) Braydon Coburn - He had at least four or five chances to win the game in OT - he was buzzing and has played strong the last few games
3) Dustin Byfuglien - Great cannon of a shot, he was the Jets offense tonight

1. Mason - another very strong game. Big stop on the penalty shot
2. Offense - looked even more dangerous than 5 goals. Especially Lecavalier, voracek, and timonen. In that order.
3. Hall - kind of a cumulative thing, but his face off numbers are ridiculous right now.
Honorable mention - Rinaldo - might have been the biggest reason the Pk started off so strong tonight . Lots of real nice plays from him defensively. Very excited about that.

Goata
1. Streit - tons of turnovers it seemed like. Put the flyers in a tough spot multiple times
2. Delay of game penalties - Cmon guys.
3. Hartnell - as useful as everyone else looked offensively, I thought he was kind of a black hole

1) Steve Mason - His penalty shot save on Kyle Turris was sensational, and he kept going, even after the game was tied
2) Claude Giroux - He looks more dangerous each night, his goal was a thing of beauty tonight
3) Adam Hall - He is one of the unsung heros of the Flyers, he does all the little things well, great on faceoffs and he chipped in with the empty net goal

Yep agreed on all fronts. Play like that and they'll make the playoffs.

1) Matt Read - This was his best game in a few weeks, his two goals energized the team when they were down 1-0
2) Ray Emery - He was stellar tonight, the Flyers took some dumb penalties and Razor did a great job of killing those penalties
3) Steve Downie - He and the entire line(him, Coots and Matt Read) were fantastic - Steve Downie made some great plays/passes to set up Matt Read on a few of those goals

1. Third line - maybe the most dominant performance I've seen from a flyers line in 2 years. They were awesome in all aspects.

2. Lecavalier - another night of looking dangerous, got a goal tonight. I think he's been the flyers best forward thus far

3. Ryan miller - is it physically possibly to get him to give up a rebound? He was stellar tonight behind a pretty worthless roster in front of him. Can't wait to see what he can do if he's the US tender in sochi

Honorable mention: flyers defense minus streit. Thought they played real well, kept the puck along the boards most of the third period.

Goats
1. 5 on 3 pps - they were embarassing
2. Streit - he really isn't playing well
3. Hartnell - two games in a row I felt like he was kind of a flyers momentum killer. Bad penalty or two, always seemed to be in the wrong place.

General mention: Emery: I thought he looked kinda shake tonight. Against a better team they probably capitalize on a few of those juicy rebounds. But he kept the puck out for the most part so I can't really say he played poorly. Just something I noticed.

As soon as we can get our penalty kill and discipline under control, the Talbot for Downie trade looks like an absolute genius move by Homer. Why? It appears to have given us the missing piece we needed offensively on the third line so that suddenly the top three lines all have chemistry and can score. That's a HUGE deal. To have 8-9 guys that can all either score or set up a linemate to score is what the top teams in the league strive for.

Absolutely - it hurt the Flyers when they had a guy with stone hands on one of the lines in the top 9, it would hold down the entire line, so basically you'd only have a top six - having Steve Downie is huge in that regard
