Flyers 3 Stars 2013-14

1) Andrej Meszaros - His best game in a long time, three assists and was in the play a lot
2) Sean Couturier - He was strong defensively and was physical & got the first goal of the game
3) Zac Rinaldo - He was really good tonight, scoring his first goal of the season was the cherry on top

Andrej the giant makes an appearance! Good to see from him. I mess his stellar play from a couple years ago.

1-Mezz for his three assists
2- Rinaldo first goal of at least 10 this season
3- Luke Schenn had an assist and was a monster tonight.

Schenn, Lecavalier, for their goals that were timely and Rafl for doing some great forechecking that set-up some goals against the Blades.

1) Vinny Lecavalier - His goal late was obviously huge and how he's struggled, it was big to get that goal
2) Brayden Schenn - He just comes up clutch when they need a big goal, love that about him
3) Scott Hartnell - He actually had a good game tonight, that was a good goal he scored

2- Matt Read for coming back and playing well
3-Vinny he would be number one but he has just been horrible and lets face it the pass to him is what made that play

Schenn and Meszaros for great timely goals and Simmonds for all the little things and a tip-in goal late against the Preds.

1) Wayne Simmonds - He was stellar again tonight - three point night including the game tying goal
2) Andrej Meszaros - He was very assertive tonight and I've loved what he's done lately
3) Brayden Schenn - Got an early goal and a shootout goal - he's been big lately for the Flyers

Meszaros-His two goals to get us scoring in the first period.
Giroux-Taking over the latter part of third period with two excellent passes to Voracek and Raffl to get past the Isles to a 5-4 lead.
Emery-Coming in on a moments notice and assisting in changing the momentum of the game after we got dominated for nearly 12 minutes.
Grossman-Honorable mention for just doing the dirty work to keep us in the game.

1) Andrej Meszaros - Absolute beast tonight, he was flying and I love his confidence
2) Claude Giroux - He took over the third period and did tremendous when they needed him most
3) Michael Raffl - He was in the right place at the right time, scored the go ahead goal late

I normally wouldn't say a dman played well in a 4 goal game but yes Grossmann was pretty good out there. He held his ground and punished guys in the corner. That's his job and he did it well.

Goat of the 4-3 shootout loss to the Islanders is by far and away is Berube for not having a clue on when to call time out. He cost us that point.

Hartnall/Giroux combination for three goals and some good assists. Gold all night long against the RedWings.
Adam Hall/Couterier for two more goals.
Steve Mason for one hell of shut-out win!

1) Steve Mason - He was stellar tonight, he made big saves and gave the team and himself confidence
2) Scott Hartnell - Terrific game from him, they needed that and they got it
3) Claude Giroux - He was flying all over the place and he had some nice set-ups and a nice goal

Giroux for telling babcock to go fuck himself for picking crosby's bum buddy instead of him....as well as a few others such as carter and nash. Go suck it babs!!!!
