It has a ton of bearing on Miller's contract. Right now we need to wait for the real numbers to come out on this deal. Easy to say $63 million guaranteed when half of it isn't actually truly guaranteed and has stipulations behind the player actually getting it. Such as the Broncos did guarantee $58 million but the 3rd year was only guaranteed because of injury so the real number was $38.5 million for truly guaranteed money.

So now if this entire $63 million is guaranteed then yeah that becomes the new starting point for truly guaranteed money. If say it is closer to the $42.5 million of Dareus then doesn't really change much and the Broncos will just have to up the $38.5 million to most likely above that $42.5 million to around $45 million range.

How long can the market bear it? You can keep raising the cap for these quickly exploding contracts but the revenue stream is finite.
