Backstrom was interfering with Anderson. But he was pushed in there by the D man. But he didn't really try to get out of the crease, Backstrom just threw his arms in the air and stood there. But Anderson was paying more attention to what Backstrom was doing instead of looking for the puck.

In other words I really don't know which way to see that call.
