Perhaps the top FA remaining, Ezeli's options are running thin. I wanted the Pacers to look into him before we signed Al Jefferson. I then thought Charlotte could be a fit to replace Jefferson before they settled on Hibbert.

Right now, Ezeli's best option might be to follow Bogut and Barnes to the GS-refugee camp in Dallas. Truthfully, even though they signed Durant, it might not be all smooth sailing for the Warriors with all the rim protection they're losing, as Draymond is going to be forced to play a position he's not as accustomed to.

They'll still likely lead the league in the agitation factor with the Green/Pachulia tandem at center, though...And that certainly won't hurt the team with the most talented roster in the NBA.

Actually if Ezeli, can't secure himself a long term contract this year, he might actually be better off returning to the Warriors for cheap and trying to win that starting job. Teams will have a ton of cap space again next year with the cap rising once again. If he's able to stay relatively healthy and produce at a decent rate, he could see a significant return on the open market again next year.

The Warriors actually offer him the best shot of winning a starting job and getting lots of playing time.

Cheap as in minimum contract? That's not in his best interest financially. There are plenty of teams with cap space left. Toronto could use him.

There aren't many teams left with significant cap space. Toronto used most of their cap space retaining Derozan at a large figure. They also have Valanciunus and drafted Poeltl as their backup.

Festus probably tops out at 4 years 40M right now. If he came back for the Warriors, assuming at the minimum, started and played decent, he could be looking at more of a Mozgof 4 for 64 next year. It would definitely be a risk, but he could play himself into a much better looking contract next off-season. GS is one of the only places he could potentially go for a starter role.

Edit: Not saying it's his BEST option, but still an intriguing one based on risk/reward.

There are 20 teams with 10M+ available without cap holds, 6 with 10M+ available with cap holds. No reason to expect him to take the league minimum. There won't be cap space for him to get $16M from the Warriors next year; there will be huge cap holds for Curry's and Durant's max deals.

He wants to get paid. Plenty of teams can give him $12-14 and he can be a starter or get quality minutes off the bench. I highly doubt he would even consider taking the minimum, some team will pay him.
