7 is the greatest game of all time. Other than that, 12 is my favorite

Its up there in 'best games when they came out' but I have no desire to play it again. Yuffie and Vincent and Caith Sith and the Aeris/Aerith scene are the kinds of things that only work once. 1 minute long spell buildups and 2 minute long summons aren't things that people do anymore.
I'd rather just see the Materia system and a brand new list of characters.
