Self-proclaimed Asshole
I remember that... Rangers were about as close as you can get to a title... That did suck...
And thanks to our dumb ass, coke head manager we have no idea when we'll get another opportunity.

That's how I feel right now having Lynch and 3 downs to get half a yard.... Bevell has done this many times before ... I hope his AZZ is outta town now... This was unforgivable... Congrats to the pats ...
If this was baseball we bunted with Babe Ruth with 2 outs in the 9th down 1 ... I like what Emmit Smith tweeted... Worst call in Super Bowl history..... Emmit nailed that one...
2nd down snapped with 26 seconds and 1 time out.
One of those last three plays had to be a pass. Best it came on 2nd down to keep the Defense guessing.
Pete was right to pass. It just didn't get executed. Maybe a different pass play, but pass was probably the right call on 2nd in that situation.

True the sting of that Tyree catch hasnt gone away and it been 7 years
Poster has a good point.
Running Lynch was the safe call, no question...but the pass play call itself was not a bad call...unless...and that's what happened....Wilson might not have seen the inside defender, but he has to own this as well.
26 second left in the 4th quarter and you are 2&goal on the 1 yard line... WITH 1 TO LEFT... And arguably the BEST goal-to-go RB in the game??? In the SB? There's quite the gap between safe and insanity here... There just no way that I could/would support not running the ball in that situation.
Run it & get stuffed? Call timeout... Then contemplate passing. Too much riding on that single play. Sure we can divvy up the blame any way we want now that its over... But there's a huge elephant in that equation lol.
Everyone that lives in Seattle wants to kill themselves as it is. Can't imagine how it feels now.

Looks like he's taking the blame... I agree with you he should take some heat... I just don't understand not using Lynch there... This will hurt for a while..
