The longer the title the less important the job.
Love the show but was not impressed with the first episode. Hopefully it picks up.

Welp. That was a weird one tonight
I wanted to watch this year with Jim Gaffigan, but after his wife had brain tumor surgery I was not sure if he was still doing this or if they were already done shooting it.
I have recently become interested in this show. Not sure why.

I thought it was a great episode. I wonder if Gloria tells anyone about her step fathers troubled past? I was really looking forward to more of the brothers feud. I think Gloria is going to start snooping around about he AC unit. Her saying to the cop, "An air conditioner in the winter? That's a little weird." near the end of the episode makes me think she starts interacting with Nikki in the next one.The pushing the AC unit out was great.
It was a bit weird of an episode. A giant dead end.
The cop in LA was something else.

WTF was going on in the "bowling alley"? Is she dead?
I am not so sure.I don't think so. I think Ray Wise's character is suppose to be some kind of cosmic justice thing so he showed up and helped her out
I am not so sure.
The bartender never batted an eye with all these people coming in covered in blood. This could just be "movie magic", but it might also be a clue.
Ray Wise asked her where she was, and when she said a bowling alley, he laughed and said "is that what you see?". That hinted that each "spirit" was in a different surrounding.
He told her the story of all the dead Russians whose souls were lost, hinting that her sound was lost.
The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that she is, in fact, dead.
