"It's just a flying saucer"
LMAO. Brilliant.
Peggy is realized.

Great episode.....next week's finale is gonna be fantastic.
I'm already looking forward to season 3.....can't wait.
How lucky has Milligan been?...and the same goes for Peggy & Ed....wow, talk about fortuity.
I feel bad for Lou though. After he goes through all that stuff, he still has yet to found out what happened to his wife.
Those UFO's though.....real crazy shit.
I was reading about some of the reported sightings of them in the 1970's, and hadn't realized what a hotbed of activity Minnesota was for that back then. Interesting.
LOLReally? I thought it was pretty solid. Sort of follows the recent blueprint of top notch cable shows, all the action is in the 2nd to last episode, last one ties it all up.
I thought the tie in to season one was nicely done.
Paid some attention to the 'meaning' while poking fun at 'meaning.'
I thought that the finish for Milligan was cribbed a bit too much from 'The Shield.' But still solid.
LOL
I was thinking of The Shield as well.
I didnt really see any wrap up. The Injun left to the Middle East. Milligan was put in a cell. "Your Mother" didnt die yet. Sam is a crazy old coot. The injun cook gets a boatload of cash. Crazy chic ponders the plight of the modern woman while heading to the clink.
Meh.
There are actually tie ins with the movie too. I was waiting for some in season 2, but couldn't find any. However, in season 1...Nope on the movie and show having anything to do with one another.
See the movie. Its the shit.
At any rate, the 'ending,' imo, was summed up in the dialogue between the babysitter and the wife, and the cop and crazy lady in the squad car.
You protect your own, and do what you can in the time you have.
Some come out the other side, (the Nam helicopter pilot), some don't. (the Butcher and the entire Solverson clan)
Some endings are satisfying and have justice. (the Solverson's future)
And some aren't. (Hanzee walks away)
I'm still trying to decide whether 'Friendo' was deliberate or not, a wink to the purposefully unsatisfying ending to 'No Country for Old Men.'

Word. Thanks for the correction.
Why are you fakin the funk, homey? Or have you finally seen the error that you once wallowed in and realize TWBB was and is the superior piece of work?
Heh. No way, no how. The ending was supposed to be unsatisfying, because that was the moral/meaning of the whole story.
On a side note, LUTHER is back on!
yep, watched Ep #1 on couchtuner.at couple of days back. Alice, well there's the rub - no spoilers allowed!
