49ers activated RB Tevin Coleman (knee) from injured reserve ahead of Week 8 against the Seahawks.​

This means Coleman will be available Sunday for the first time since September 20. With Jeff Wilson on IR, Kyle Shanahan could turn to a trio of Coleman, Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty in a great matchup... or pick one, not tell media members and leave us all frustrated after the game. The most likely outcome seems to be Hasty and Coleman splitting the bulk of the opportunity with McKinnon on pseudo-load management.

Chiefs declared WR Sammy Watkins, RT Mitchell Schwartz, TE Ricky Seals-Jones, RB DeAndre Washington, DE Demone Harris, LB Darius Harris and DT Khalen Saunders inactive for Week 8 against the Jets.​

The Chiefs could declare half their 53-man roster inactive and it would not matter against the Jets. If Watkins does not return for Week 9, the Chiefs are on bye in Week 10. Week 11 is probably his most likely return date.

It means the Bengals will be missing an unfathomable four starting offensive linemen vs. Tennessee. Jordan's (non-COVID) illness just popped up on Sunday morning. He is joining LT Jonah Williams, RT Bobby Hart and C Trey Hopkins on the shelf. The Bengals' line is already terribad, so to say it's a concern would be putting it mildly. Thankfully, the Titans have one of the league's least effective pass rushes. Joining the OL on the shelf are WR John Ross and RB Joe Mixon.
