Report: Gronk not expected to play Week 1

Rob Gronkowski (questionable, hamstring) isn't expected to play Sunday night against the Cardinals.

Gronk's status was in doubt after not traveling with the team. His absence is a downgrade to the entire offense, but will create more targets for Julian Edelman. Martellus Bennett is a low-end TE1 with Gronk out. Gronkowski should have a decent chance at returning in Week 2 if he avoids setbacks.

Thomas Rawls (illness, ankle) is expected to play, but is going to be eased back after missing most of training camp. Coming off a strong preseason, Michael has a chance to run away with the starting job. He's an upside RB2 against the Dolphins.

I have absolutely no body on my team to start for him (well I could take a chance on Howard) and with such deep benches in this league wire is thin...............so I'm gonna pick up McDonald..............never thought I'd see the day I'd start 2 TE...............
