Bears have the cap space, the need on OL, and it would make for a great PR move. Also think Sitton would like the idea of playing the team that dropped him, so think this is a no brainier.
I've seen the Bears screw up "no brainer" deals before.
Like try every QB deal since Sid Luckman.
But I do trust GM Ryan Pace and Coach Fox more.

Dolphins take a shot with Justin Hunter. Besides the hammy, I wonder what's goin' on with Parker? Gase kinda sorta calls him out about not being able to take "certain kinds of pain", whatever that means. Somethin' ain't kosher here.

John Fox caught some flak here (mainly by the media) for saying that certain players had "owies."
Fox did clarify that there is a difference to being hurt and being injured.
So he'd ask, are you hurt, or are you injured?
If they were hurt, in so many words he'd expect them to play.

Maybe that's the mentality Gase also has since they were in the same system for a couple seasons.

Haha I like that; and I get it. Like years ago when Parcells did the "she" thing. I dunno, for some reason this struck me differently. Maybe it's just me.

And here I thought James coined that...

Bears did sign OG Josh Sitton, formerly of the Packers, to a three-year contract.

Bears signed K Connor Barth.
Still in shock about this one.

Maybe a locker room thing? Oh well, Gould hasn't been gold for a while now.

The Packers cutting Sitton is a bit of a head scratcher. He has been a staple on our OL for a long time. He does have back issues but I was shocked to see us give away what would have been a great comp pick by cutting him.

Think the Packer want to roll over the cap space for next year, when they need to resign some other younger OL. Do they have anyone to replace Sitton that's decent?

They have options but there isn't a team in the league that can just roll someone out at Sitton's level.

With the success the Packers have had drafting players and bringing them up through their organization - and there's no doubt they've been successful - maybe they're starting to get a little cocky about it?

Who was it that was really high on this kid last year? I know a couple people drafted him in last year's drafts.
