I don’t understand going with old retreads vs using Williams who played well.

Man, is Ty'son Williams a drop? I read somewhere that he might not even be active for tomorrow's game.

Just a rumor after they announced Bell being activated. Internet analysts throwing everything they can think up to see what sticks/ comes true

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 4 against the Seahawks.

That means we’ll get another week of Trey Sermon as the starter. Sermon started last week and earned 10 carries plus three targets. He managed just 34 yards from scrimmage but saved his day with an end-zone plunge. Kyle Juszczyk saw a career-high in touches in that game while getting the bulk of the passing-downs work and seeing red zone opportunities. His presence keeps Sermon in the RB3 range this week.

Well Freeman isn't going to be active this game so Le'veon can take on the 3 touches he averages and see what he can do with them. Apparently instead of picking up a running back that might actually make a difference they are just going to rotate over the hill terrible running backs with that 3rd running back spot so AP and Gurley should be next.
I wonder if they may do more designed run plays and quick throws to keep Lamar from scrambling. Twisting and ducking and dodging doesn't sound great for back pain.

Freeman was signed a day or two after Bell, however, he was in Saints camp for a couple weeks, while Bell was doing Lord knows what

I'm gonna withhold any jusgement on Bell being an old retread, or being anything more than that.

I have hopes he's still got something left, and if he does, I have no doubts he can succeed in the offense, but maybe he is spent.

Won't know till we we see it in game.

Sure ain't gonna endorse him, but I can promise you that unless your waiver priority #1, if he does do well today, you aren't getting him Tuesday. So you either take that risk now while he's "free", or he'll be on someone else's roster. If he stinks, well, guess you try again next week

I took a shot in Barbarians. Didn't have much to lose. Not gonna start him this week, but I guess we'll see.

Yep..and I would agree, that no matter your opinion, or even the truth, about him, starting him this week is truly a pipe dream.
Ain't saying you wont get lucky, but if I'm that sort of desperate in a redraft, I'm grabbing Stevenson and starting him

Not sure I understand this. Williams certainly hasn't been bad, and no one knows yet what Freeman has in the tank.

I dunno man. I said from the beginning i thought murray would be the guy there. That may be wrong. But it appears they want a vet. Think today will be telling.
Last week williams still dominated snap counts but was blocking a ton.

Ravens promoted RB Le'Veon Bell to the active roster.

Baltimore will presumably have four backs available after the team divvied touches between Latavius Murray (7), Ty'Son Williams (5), and Devonta Freeman (3) in Sunday's win over the Lions. Although Williams has been the spriest among the group any time he's touched the ball, Baltimore's coaching staff has clearly been unhappy with his pass-pro and lack of ball security. This is a situation to avoid altogether, Bell included.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Latavius Murray is expected to be the Ravens' lead back in Week 4.

Baltimore called up Le'Veon Bell from the practice squad yesterday, but it sounds like Murray will headline this backfield in Week 4. Ty'Son Williams has been the more efficient rusher, but the Ravens have been hesitant to hand the rookie too large of a workload. Murray brings a dependable veteran presence at the running back position, although he does lack the juice of someone like Williams at this stage in his career. It's difficult to trust any Ravens back today against a stingy Broncos defense.
