Hope the Raiders sign Darkwa...he can probably beat out Lynch and Martin...they can be the depth

Big shocker in Denver..4 weeks from now it'll be "Broncos shopping D. Booker, as team settles into a two back thunder and lighting combo of Freeman and Henderson"

What happened to all that Martin hype I was hearing just last month? Seems to have faded quickly.

I dunno, I saw one lil blurb that he looked like he had some spring back in his step..that's about all the Martin hype I've noticed.

At this point, wouldn't surprise me if Gruden signed AP or Charles, their ages certainly fit the team design

im just not seeing the older guy theme working

He was very bad at drafting in his previous stints(Like Matt Millen bad) signing aging vets to plug holes is a smart move on his part imo.

Meh..the TB draft classes were crap, although his final one did net him A. Talib. But Oakland was much more of a mixed bag. Granted there should have been more hits, but from 98-01, he scored Charles Wooden, Matt Stinchcomb, Janikowski and Lechler, and the team, starting in 2000, had a 5-6 year run of divisional dominance, so they couldn't have been too bad

One of those stop gap vets had a few great yrs at QB too. Not sure anyone saw that Gannon resurgence/break out at 34yrs old

I sure as hell didn't, took him in the late late rounds that first season for no other reason than he lined up well with my starters bye week (and maybe a slight nod to being a homer), what a nice stroke of luck that was

Packers had two defensive players carted off the field today. Kentrell Brice and Jake Ryan.

In other news, Tyler Eifert passed his physical and is off of the PUP list

for now...

Likely torn ACLs for both Ryan and Brice

Tbh, raiders have tossed the steelers around in recent memory. The last game Pittsburgh was in a shootout at home against them. 2010 was the exception because the steelers were at home back to back after losing big to NE. I actually have raiders losing this season on the premise that Pittsburgh sweeps the AFC West.

thankfully the Jordan Mathews sleeper rumors can be put to rest - never liked a guy that plays the slot with stone hands, didn't think he'd mesh well with Brady anyhow

I was a believer, drafted him in D1, tried to trade for him in Bandits D, apparently his owner was also a believer. But, not to be!

I suspect we'll see either Eric Decker or Maclin in Boston sooner than later.
