Clearly? I'm not sure I would say that. I'm not so sure I would even say he's the 2nd best even if you count Beckham and Evans as 1a and 1b.

Cooks, Landry, Benjamin, Robinson maybe even Jordan Matthews could be considered better.

Getting a little late in the game to go off talent though.

This will be year four. And I have a hard time seeing Goff as a big boost for his career. (Same line of thinking, Landry now has Cutler.)

Let's put it this way. In 2015, he went on a hot run, scoring TDs in four straight games, some of them multi-TDs. He also scored TDs weeks 3, 7, and 9. He scored TDs in six games within a 9 week stretch from weeks 7 to 9. He was on another big run in 2014 before KC banged him up.
