So according to the local KC sports radio dude, who was interviewed by the local Denver boyson our radio. ..
The GM was fired due to personal "butting heads" issues with Reid and the owner, the way the Charles cut went down, the way the Maclin release went down, they felt he embarrassed them and the entire organization. So they wanted you send a message that this isn't the way KC handles their business. Apparently the ex GM want even given the chance to clean out his office

Jets owner Woody Johnson has been officially nominated to be the United States' ambassador to the United Kingdom.

The move had been rumored since January. It had been delayed for reasons unknown by president Donald Trump. It isn't uncharted territory for a 21st century NFL owner, as Johnson will join the late, great Dan Rooney as a United States ambassador. Rooney was Barack Obama's ambassador to Ireland from 2009-12. It's unclear how the appointment will affect Johnson's football duties. Rooney remained involved with the Steelers during his time in Ireland. Ambassador of the United States to the Court of St James's is an important position. It's unclear what makes Johnson qualified.

Dolphins just signed Damon "The Popcorn Cannon" Davidson - dude can throw a box of popcorn 4 sections over.
Downside is they have to hire 3 more people to run around and collect the $8, but Davidson is gonna explode out of his shell this season.
